event.  From concept design to the final product, we carefully anticipate and account for every detail.  
Founders Dawn Van Dyke and Melina Dreyfuss have combined their extensive industry knowledge and
celebrated visions to form the exclusive "
DM."

We aim to create the event that each client envisions.  By taking the time to listen to their ideas and
concepts and consulting with our experienced team of vendors, we are able to develop a unique, tailored
design.

DAWN
Dawn began her career planning high end weddings in Miami, Florida where she worked
with some of Miami's top rated venues.  In addition to weddings, Dawn worked briefly in
PR and media, which later helped her to liaise with magazine and newspaper publishers
when placing engagement and wedding announcement stories for her clients.  Dawn
moved to Manhattan to pursue an opportunity as an event planner in-house at a national
professional services firm. There she met Melina... the rest is history!

MELINA
Melina started in event planning while working for a large event production and design
company on Long Island.  Her major accounts included large restaurants, vineyards,
private estates, and Hampton locations.  She was an integral part of the team that helped
her company acquire two event rental companies as well as create an in-house floral
design department.  Melina moved to Manhattan to pursue an opportunity as an event
planner in-house at a national professional services firm.  There she met Dawn...the rest
is history!
